In 2013 at just 13 years old, Preston began riding a golf cart door to door— push mower in tow—looking for yards to work on within his neighborhood. Just a couple years later in 2015, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to starting his first lawn and landscape company, Mustang Mowing, with the help of some friends. Mustang Mowing scaled into a respectable business known by many, and was solely operated by a group of high schoolers with like-minds and a desire to work. With years of growth and a roster of clients on his books, Preston graduated high school from Cy-Ranch and sought to learn a new skill to offer. He put Mustang Mowing on hold and moved to College Station, later graduating in 2022 from Blinn College with several certifications in welding. Upon moving back to Cypress, Mustang Mowing was re-branded, and in June of 2023, Rafter V Services was established with more to offer than ever before.
